The St Thomas More's Library provides an environment that encourages its use for educational, as well as recreational, purposes and is staffed on a part-time basis.

All students from Kindergarten to Year 6 participate in a library lesson on a weekly basis.

These lessons focus on fostering a love of books and reading and developing Information Literacy skills that will enable students to become confident users of the library and its resources. Children are encouraged to borrow books from the library during library sessions and lunchtimes on the days the Teacher Librarian is in the school. Children in Kindergarten to Year 3 must have a Library Bag to borrow.

At times, the library sponsors visits by Storytellers, Authors and Illustrators. Book Fairs are also held throughout the year.

This provides an opportunity for family and friends to purchase from a selection of quality children's books. It also assists with school fundraising as a percentage of the sales remains in the school.
