Teaching and Learning

At this stage of the term, as part of being Centred In Learning the students have been demonstrating their capabilities and growth through a variety of learning and assessment tasks. Our teachers are monitoring student growth, assessment data and engagement and are preparing Semester reports.  Teachers also provide specific feedback about their learning and opportunities for growth.

You may have heard your child talk about WAGOLL. That stands for What A Good One Looks Like. The teachers have been providing exemplars of learning tasks, success criteria linked to the lesson’s learning intention and providing opportunities for the children to demonstrate their understandings.

There is an opportunity for you to make a meeting time in Week 9 of this term to discuss your child’s learning. More information regarding booking a meeting will occur closer to the date.

Wellbeing Week

Next week is Wellbeing week which is an opportunity for rest and family time. We do not set homework or have meetings during this week. We wish you a welcomed break from the usual routines which will come nicely after a long weekend.
