Our third STM community council meeting for 2024 was a productive meeting and I thank all members who were able to come and contribute, particularly those staff members who stayed on for the meeting despite a full work day followed by the school open evening. The discussion centred predominately around the following topics: 

• progress made towards organising for a school canteen;
• the role of parent contacts within the school and how they can support and be supported by the council particularly in relation to the organising of schools events;
• annual improvement plan focusing on the role of high impact teaching practices;
• upcoming school events;
• carpark safety, particularly while the upgrades to the staff carpark are still underway.

With Luke Donnelly away on long service leave for Terms 2 and 3, there are some temporary changes to the council representatives. These changes are reflected below:

We are highly approachable (hopefully!) and always welcome input from our community so please do get in touch with us if you have any concerns or ideas you would like us to raise, we always welcome feedback and input. Our lovely community thrives best when we’re all engaged and working as a team, bringing up issues as they arise and working out solutions together.
