Parent Teacher Interviews/ Semester Reports
Thank you everyone for making time to meet with your child’s teacher about their progress, growth and achievements. Semester reports will be published this Friday.
First Eucharist
On Sunday we celebrated with families of our First Eucharist candidates. It was a lovely Mass and we congratulate Louis, Ashlea, Siara, Mitchell, Patrick Q, Patrick C, Aurora, Betty, Wilson, Coen, Billy, Harry, Lily, Oliver, Anna, Keira, Sophie and Skyla.
Thank you to members of the Choir, led by Ms Strmota who joined us to celebrate and support members of their school community.
Feast Day
A fabulous day was held last Friday to honour our Patron Saint Thomas More. A lesson about Thomas More grew our wisdom about his life and contributions. We celebrated as a whole school with Mass led by Father Anthony. In the afternoon we had three sessions planned around Thomas More’s values of Wisdom, Courage and Peace.
Wisdom- led by Parishioner, Chris Evans about St Thomas More and included a quiz which the students excelled at.
Courage- led by Ms McQuirk where students worked collaboratively to build a structure using only the materials provided.
Peace- led by Helen Bramanathan (from CE and a previous teacher at our school). This involved experiencing a sense of peace as we engaged in Christian Mediation and were reminded of the significance of Silence, Stillness and the Simplicity of being prayerful and building a relationship with God.
Morning tea was provided- a delicious donut iced in school colours!
Thank you to Ms McQuirk for her organisation of our Feast Day.
