Principals Report
Dear Parents and Carers,
St Thomas More Feast Day
We are looking forward to celebrating our Feast Day on Friday. We begin this day with Mass at 9:30am. All parents and carers are warmly invited to attend.
Thank you in advance to the Yr 1 parents who will be cooking the sausage sizzle for lunch. Our activities for the remainder of the day will celebrate Australia’s indigenous culture.
Sacrament of Eucharist
This Sunday at Mass, we celebrate with our Yr 3 students and their families as they receive the Sacrament of Eucharist. They have been working hard for this day and are very prepared to take the next step of initiation into the Catholic Church. Mass is at 9:30am. Thank you to the choir for singing at the Mass. Unfortunately, I am unable to be there on Sunday; I was asked by my niece to be her Confirmation sponsor and so will be travelling to country Victoria this weekend.
Parent/Teacher Interviews
Reports go home on Friday. Parent/Teacher Interviews will be in Week 10. Book an appointment online!
Here is a "How to" document to assist you.

Athletics’ Carnival
Next Wednesday we’re off to Merici for our Athletics’ Carnival. Parents are very welcome to attend or drop by for as long as work commits. We will arrive at Merici College at 9:30am. The Junior classes will leave the Carnival at 12:00pm to make their way back to school. The Yr 3 to 6 students will get on the bus to leave at 1:15pm.
Awards Assembly
There will be no awards assembly this Friday due to our STM Feast Day Mass.
Congratulations
Congratulations to Daisy Davidson who was welcomed into the Catholic Church last Sunday through the Sacrament of Baptism.
Student Leadership Survey
We are currently reviewing and evaluating our student leadership structure. Currently students in 3-6 appoint two school captains and two house captains per team. Students in Year 6 nominate for the role, write an expression of interest letter to the Principal, prepare a speech and present it in front of their peers.
We welcome and value your feedback and ask that you take a few minutes to complete this survey. Click on the link below.
