Thank you to all who came to our Ash Wednesday Mass last Wednesday. I was delighted that we had to get out extra chairs because we had so many family members join us. We continue to pray for the Year Two students who are preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Wendy Rix- Visiting Artist

On Thursday and Friday this week Wendy Rix, an Indigenous Artist is visiting St Thomas More’s. She has painted the above canvas for our foyer around the theme ‘We Are on Sacred Ground’.  Wendy has also incorporated into the painting, head, hearts and hands- which is a tool we use with the children when interpreting Scripture. She is also visiting to work with the children to create artworks based on the NAIDOC theme- Always was, always will be. Please make sure your child brings a smock or old shirt to school if they haven’t already done so.

Centred in Faith Gathering

This Friday 6th of March at 9:00am 3/4 White is hosting our Centred in Faith Gathering on Wisdom. They will discuss how St Thomas More our patron saint used wisdom while serving God.

Year 2 Mass

This Friday at 10:00am Year 2 are attending a Parish Mass at the St Thomas More’s Church.
