Remembrance Day Liturgy

At 11.00 am on 11 November 1918, the guns of the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous war. In November the Germans called for an armistice (suspension of fighting) in order to secure a peace settlement.

Remembrance Day is the occasion to pause, reflect, appreciate, be grateful and honour the servicemen and women whose dedication and sacrifice have secured peace and freedom for our society.

St Thomas More's Remembrance Day Liturgy will be held on Thursday 11 November 2021 commencing at 1050am on the school courtyard (weather permitting).

Those of you looking to commemorate Remembrance Day 2021, the RSL is asking all Australians to Remember to Remember.
