Reading is Dreaming with eyes open

Monday 22^nd - Reading is . . .

Picnic book reading led by 5/6 students.

Tuesday 23^rd – Dreaming  . . .

In the spirit of a well known author, Walt Disney who said, “ All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.”

Visit the library at lunch to celebrate Disney stories.

Wednesday 24^th– With your eyes open . . .

Play a game of I spy and wear your best sunglasses to school today.

Thursday 25^th – Celebrate books . . .

Author visit- Amelia McInerney

Snuggle up and read. Come to the library between 5:30 pm and 7pm to read with your family, enjoying a hot chocolate. Wear your pyjamas, bring your own books if you wish and a torch!

Parent must accompany their child- please complete the google form to notify us of your attendance by Monday August 21^st.

Friday 26^th- Book Week Parade  . . .

Come to school dressed as a character from a book. Children will parade in front of the school at 9 am.
