Cyber Safety Evening
On Tuesday 24 June from 5:00 - 6:00pm our Student Welfare Officer, Penny Vanzwol, will be facilitating a Cyber Safety Workshop with parents and their children. This will be a wonderful opportunity for you to review your family practices in ensuring the safety of your children when using devices in the home.
Community Council Executive Meeting
Our Community Council Executive met last week for our second closed meeting of the year. The council heard updates from the school, parish and Events Working Party. We then chose a traffic engineer to proceed with a plan for the top carpark, heard about the potential of improving our house points system at carnivals and discussed the funds raised by the mother's day raffle and the clothing pool. Our Open Council Meeting for the term will be Tuesday 26 June from 6:00pm following on from the cyber safety evening. Childcare will be provided for children who are in attendance.

Athletics Carnival
It was disappointing for us all to cancel the Athletics Carnival, however we are sure Merici College appreciates allowing their grounds the time to dry after the recent rain. The Athletics Carnival will now be held on Friday 13 June.
Students Leaving in 2026
We would like to remind any families who will not be returning in 2026 to let the school know as soon as possible as we currently have waiting lists for the majority of grades.
Potential Hazard
A parent has informed us that they received a punctured tyre when travelling past the townhouse development at the top of White Cres. We thought it was best to notify our families so that they can be mindful of building materials in this space and avoid the unpleasant experience of a punctured tyre!
