Colour Run and Mission Fete
It was a fantastic day on Friday for our annual Mission Fete and Colour Run. The courtyard was covered in books, toys and games during the middle session as the students busily shopped for their next treasures. Then in the afternoon our hall became a buzz of excitement for the grand prize draw and finally, we headed to the oval for the fun of the colour run. Our fundraising efforts in these spaces saw the school raise $396.00 for the Mission Fete and $3,3564 towards bubblers in our Colour Run.

Council Nominations - Executive and Events Working Party
We are continuing to seek nominations for representatives on the Community Council Executive from 2025. In addition to this, the council are interested in forming an Events Working Party. The Events Working Party will be a group of parents who support the successful coordination of events within the school year including liaising with school staff and parent contact coordinators and evaluating the events, feeding back potential adjustments to these events in future years. We are proud of our strong community and see this working party as an opportunity to grow stronger in 2025. If you are interested in either of these roles or would like to nominate a member of the community please contact myself or Michael Kelly.
60th Anniversary of St Thomas More's Parish

Advent
Year 4 will be leading Advent prayers with classes each Friday at 10:45am in the
classrooms. This week we light the 2nd Advent candle- the Peace candle. When we celebrate Peace we think of Jesus the Prince of Peace who came as a baby into the world so that we can learn and live in Peace with one another.

Mission Fete
Thank you to everyone who purchased vouchers and donated items for our Mission Fete. It was lovely to see everyone enjoy visiting the stalls and making their purchases. Well done to our Year 6 students for organising the stalls and facilitating the running of the event. We successfully raised $740 for Catholic Missions to support The Caring Centre in Mongolia- we will add to this a contribution from the Colour Run.
